Description

The Cloud Administrator plays a vital role in maintaining Truman’s cloud-base platforms and developing standard operating procedures. This role enforces the Salesforce CRM as the “source of truth” for the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

In addition to other duties that may be assigned in the future, the Cloud Administrator will have the following responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of cloud-based applications, including user access permissions.
  • Build tech workflows and automations to create efficiencies and implement best practices;
  • Build data audits to ensure data integrity;
  • Maximize Salesforce CRM integration with other platforms;
  • Assess and create procedures, definitions and data definitions for data entry and reporting including recommendations and implementation of best practices;
  • Build/improve Salesforce tools to track public and private events, including attendance (and integrate with other platforms - invitations, zoom, etc);
  • Train HQ staff on best practices for cloud-base applications.

Requirements
  • Three to five years of experience in a cloud-base administrator role in a similar environment;
  • Ability to provide admin training and end-user support;
  • Proficiency in creating Salesforce profiles, allocating roles, and managing access;
  • Experience in performing Salesforce upgrades and ensuring successful integration;
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities;
  • Knowledge of importing data and generating reports;
  • Independence, good judgment, and diplomatic skills;
  • Professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • High energy and a boundless work ethic;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;

Preferred

  • Salesforce certified administrator or Salesforce advanced administrator certification;
  • Interest in national security and human rights, and/or advocacy and in nonprofit organization management.

Compensation
Truman salary bands are aligned with OPM General Schedule rates for the DC Locality. The Cloud Administrator is a GS 11 Equivalent.
