The Participatory Budgeting Project (PBP) is a nonprofit organization that collaborates with communities across the US and Canada to implement participatory budgeting processes. Since its inception in 2009, PBP has empowered over 739,000 individuals to directly influence the allocation of more than $400 million in public funds. By fostering participatory democratic practices, PBP aims to deepen democracy, enhance community engagement, and ensure equitable public budgeting.
