Common Cause
Skills you will build and work you will be involved in:
- Supporting voter education efforts on campuses and at community events
- Preparing and delivering testimony on bills during the legislative session
- Tracking legislation and drafting policy summaries and write-ups
- Preparing social media content and digital advocacy materials
- Supporting the leadership development program and engaging with participants
- Assisting with the planning and execution of Lobby Day and other advocacy events
Qualifications:
- A passion for learning about elections, organizing, and the legislative process
- A desire and an ability to work in a non-partisan manner
- A willingness to build your organizational skills and attention to detail
- A willingness to build your writing and listening skills
- A willingness to learn new skills
